Letters & Cards for Our Lady of Peace

    By Patrick

Our Lady of Peace Retirement Community–located next door to Incarnation–is experiencing an outbreak of Covid-19, and several staff and residents are now testing positive for the disease. This requires a lengthy period of isolation from loved ones, change in routines, and other stressors. Please pray for the residents, families, staff, and support persons at Our Lady of Peace! If you’re willing, you can write notes of encouragement for residents and staff. Drawings and cards from children are especially appreciated. Envelopes should be labeled STAFF or RESIDENT on the front. We have a labeled basket in the Incarnation narthex if you want to drop them off at church, or you can mail them to:

    Sara Warden
    Our Lady of Peace
    751 Hillsdale Dr.
    Charlottesville, VA 22901

Please contact Patrick with any questions or to get involved, and please spread the word to anybody you know who might be interested in joining the effort. Check out the short and fun video below that Youth Ministry created in order to get the message out and encourage people to become pen pals with local seniors. Thank you!
