In order to walk as disciples of Christ and to put love into action, we must seek to deepen our relationship with God and to better understand how to connect our faith to the joys and struggles that we see and experience in our world. Our Catholic Church has a long tradition of social teaching that helps us to do just this. Through one-time offerings, ongoing small group programs, and hands-on experiences, Incarnation’s social ministry forms us to be the Body of Christ in a world in need of hope and healing.
We can use tools such as the Act-Reflect-Transform process to help understand where we, as individuals and as a community, are being called to grow, to serve, and to accompany others.
Check out the links below to learn more about our education and formation offerings. If you have suggestions of other programs or opportunities that our parish community might explore, or if you’d like to get involved in the planning or leading of any of the existing offerings, please contact the Sheila Herlihy, the Coordinator of Justice and Charity, in the office (justiceandcharity@incarnationparish.org).
