Fall Youth Ministry Events
- Middle School Photo Scavenger Hunt! All students in grades 6-8 are invited to join us on the downtown mall at 4:30PM on Saturday, October 28 for a photo scavenger hunt! Each group of students (led by an adult) will try to take as many of the required pictures on our list as possible within a 60 minute time limit. This is a super fun event that requires teams to work together and be creative, so the potential for silliness is very high! If you’d like to join us, please RSVP to patrick@incarnationparish.org by Sunday, 10/22. There is no cost for this event, but families are invited to join us afterwards for pizza at Christian’s if they’d like. We hope to see you there!
- Flashlight Corn Maze for all Youth in Grades 6-12! All middle and high school students are invited to join us at Liberty Mills Farm on Saturday night, November 4 for a flashlight maze in the dark! If you’ve never done a corn maze before, it’s a really fun adventure for all ages in the daylight, and it’s even more of an adventure at night, in the dark, with flashlights! Our plan is to meet on site by 7:15PM at the latest. We need time to gather and purchase tickets, so please keep that in mind. Liberty Mills is located at 9166 Liberty Mills Road, Somerset, VA 22972 (about 30 minutes from Incarnation). We will enter the maze in small groups at 7:30PM. Every participant needs to have a working flashlight or headlamp (cell phone flashlights do not count). Dress very warmly—it gets cold at night! The cost is $18 per person, and they accept cash or credit/debit cards. Please contact Patrick (patrick@incarnationparish.org) as soon as possible to RSVP (by 11/1 at the latest) so that we know how many people will be joining us.
Substitute Teachers Needed!
We are looking for substitutes for our elementary Religious Education program! Classes rely on volunteers to pass on the beautiful facts of our faith.
English classes are held Sunday mornings from 10:15-11:15AM.
Spanish classes are on Sundays from 12:15-1:15PM.
