Casa Alma and the Catholic Worker Movement Presentation

    By Sarah Phillips

Are you concerned about social justice and interested in ways lay people can respond to Catholic Social Teaching?

Jason Obergfell, a former Maryknoll Lay Missioner and new member of the Church of the Incarnation, will be speaking about his 18 years of service in Bolivia on Sunday, May 5th from 10:15 to 11:15AM in the Conference Room.

He will also discuss the Catholic Worker movement. Jason recently became a resident volunteer at Casa Alma, which is part of the Catholic Worker movement in Charlottesville.

Come and learn more about responding to Catholic Social Teaching in unique ways both globally and locally. Bring your coffee and enjoy some bagels.
