Dora was born and raised in Antigua, Guatemala. She graduated from El Colegio de la Santa Familia with her Masters in Teaching. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1984. While acquiring her certification for Catholic Leadership at Catholic University of America, she studied Theology, Philosophy, Church History, and Liturgy, and she has been working in the Pastoral Ministry for the past 30 years. Dora has worked in many different roles, such as a catechist, Director of Christian Formation, and is also a licensed VIRTUS Facilitator.
Her work has brought her to many different countries and she even had the honor to meet Pope Benedict XVI in Germany at World Youth Day in 2005!
She has had the joy of serving many different churches such as St. Thomas Apostle Catholic Church in D.C. and Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in the Diocese of Arlington.
Dora is excited to bring her passion for Sacramental Preparation to Incarnation, as the Eucharist is at the center of life. She is looking forward to helping serve our Hispanic Community and bring the seed of the Love of Jesus to the center of Christian life.
