Are you concerned about social justice and interested in ways lay people can respond to Catholic Social Teaching?
Jason Obergfell, a former Maryknoll Lay Missioner and new member of the Church of the Incarnation, will be speaking about his 18 years of service in Bolivia on Sunday, May 5th from 10:15 to 11:15AM in the Conference Room.
He will also discuss the Catholic Worker movement. Jason recently became a resident volunteer at Casa Alma, which is part of the Catholic Worker movement in Charlottesville.
Come and learn more about responding to Catholic Social Teaching in unique ways both globally and locally. Bring your coffee and enjoy some bagels.
The Parish Office is now taking room requests to be added to the calendar for the new fiscal year (July 2024-June 2025).
If your group uses a room and would like to continue this use or make a change to your reservation, or if you would like to start meeting at Incarnation,
please contact Sarah Phillips via email or call (434-973-4381) before Friday, May 31st.
**Sarah speaks Spanish.**
We are so close to having enough volunteers to host this year’s VBS program, but we still need at least FIVE more.
WHY IS VBS IMPORTANT? VBS matters because it is an intentional time and space for children to hear the gospel, learn Scripture, and tell their friends about Jesus. Kids will get a full week of Diving into Friendship with God!
ALL HANDS ON DECK! This year’s VBS will be held from: Monday, June 24–Friday, June 28 (9AM-12PM) That’s only 3 hours a day!!!
Children’s presence in the church is VITAL. Come and get to know the children in our Parish!
