WHAT IS VIRTUS TRAINING?
The “Protecting God’s Children” program is a three to four hour awareness session that is designed to educate adults on how to recognize the warning signs of child sexual abuse and what to do when they suspect a child is being victimized. At Incarnation, this training program is required for any person 18 years + who wants to volunteer with children.
WHY IS IT A GOOD CHOICE FOR ME?
Upon completion of the program, you may volunteer in programs such as Religious Education, Vacation Bible School, Youth Ministry, mission trips, and all parish events involving children and youth.
