    October is the Month of the Holy Rosary

    By Sarah Phillips

    Before each weekend Mass we invite you to join us in praying the rosary. This is a time to bring the congregation together for prayer before the beginning of Mass. Those who lead the rosary will begin 30 minutes before each Mass. We ask that all parishioners quietly enter our worship space out of respect for those who are praying.

    40 Days for Life: September 24—November 2

    By Sarah Phillips

    Take part in the Fall campaign for 40 Days for Life – an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and peaceful vigils in front of abortion facilities.

    Since 40 Days for Life began in 2007:

    • A total of 25,252 lives were saved from abortion because of 40 Days for Life vigils — that we know of;
    • 267 abortion workers who experienced conversion left their jobs in the abortion industry;
    • 159 abortion facilities closed forever after a 40 Days for Life campaign.

    Your prayers make a difference! Pray with us this Fall campaign. Hope to see you on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood on Hydraulic. Materials and signs are in the narthex. Check out: 40daysforlife.com. Contact: nancys735@comcast.net.

    Fundraiser Thank You

    By Sarah Phillips

    The Filipino-American Catholic Community would like to thank all of our church friends and family members for supporting our recent church fundraisers! Whether you stopped by Chick-fil-A for one of our Spirit Nights or exercised with us at our Zumba for a Cause event, we appreciate your support.  We had fun, made memories, and raised over $2,500 for the Capital Campaign. There will be more opportunities to join us in the months ahead. Please contact Marianne Kish if you would like to get involved. Salamat Po!
