Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation happens during a student’s sophomore year in high school in the Diocese of Richmond. A student wishing to be Confirmed must be enrolled in a faith formation program, which at Incarnation is our High School Youth Group or our FIRE program. The student must also participate in the Confirmation preparation curriculum, which is separate and distinct from High School Youth Group (see details below).
Requirements for 2016-2017
Bookmark the curriculum on your computer and/or download it to your mobile device
–We use Decision Point as our Confirmation curriculum, which was created by Dynamic Catholic. The curriculum is heavily video based, and all of the videos can be viewed for free via their website or through their mobile app. Please familiarize yourself with the program, take a look at some of the videos, bookmark the webpage for use at home, and download the app to your smartphone or tablet. Feel free to also browse our YouTube playlists for more videos, both educational and entertaining.
Individual meeting with the Youth Minister
—Contact Patrick to set up a meeting as soon as possible in September. Meetings last around 15 minutes, and we ask for a parent to be present for the second half.
