Worship
Crossbearers Needed
Grade 6 and up. The ministry of cross bearer is one of bearing Christ on the cross in the procession of ministers at Mass. The crossbearer leads the procession in and out of the assembly.
Bookbearers Needed
Grade 4 and up. A bookbearer assists at liturgies by holding the book (sacramentary) for the presider during Sunday liturgies. If you would like to get involved in either of these ministries please speak to Deacon Chris.
Wine Sunday
This is a reminder that several times a year, we ask each parish household to help replenish the supply of wine used at Masses, by donating a bottle of red wine. You may bring it when you come to Liturgy, or drop it off at the parish office through the week between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. We ask that you do not bring white, blush, or sparkling wines. Thank you.
Music Ministry
Music ministers are needed for all Masses. The role of music minister implies a commitment to attend rehearsals and celebrations, some competency in playing an instrument and an ability to sing in tune. Ministers share musical skills both vocal and instrumental to lead the assembled community in sung prayer. If you are interested in this ministry please contact Deacon Chris Morash, the Director of Worship at the parish office (973-4381, ext. 102) .
Greeters and Ushers Needed
Greeters and Ushers are needed for all the Weekend Masses. The commitment is 1 to 2 Masses each month. If you are interested in the ministry of greeters you can contact Martha Mack at 973-1143. If you are interested in the ministry of ushers you can see any usher at Mass or contact John Kowalski at 985-6159.
Flower Donations
The Parish is accepting donations for the weekly flowers that adorn the altar and ambo in honor of a loved one! The cost is $75.00. Your name or a “memorial” name will be printed in the bulletin as a “thank-you” for your donation. Flowers for Sundays and feast days are needed for the month of July and August, including the Feast of the Assumption on Wednesday, August 15. If interested you can phone or e-mail the parish office.
Nursery
A free Nursery is available for childcare during the weekend Masses, Saturday at 5:30 pm, Sunday at 9:00 am, & Sunday at 11:30 am.
