Technology Assistance: Coordinate and maintain the various components of the Parish Web-Page, email and computer systems. Commitment: as needed.
Parish Office Assistance: Assist with answering phone calls, typing, mailing, bulletin stuffing etc… and/or other duties in the Parish Office. Commitment: typically 2 hours as needed.
Facility/Landscaping: Assist with facility upkeep and inventories. Assist in the setting up of meeting rooms. Assist with various aspects of campus landscaping and cleanup. Commitment: based on your availability.
Grant Writing/Fundraising/Memorial Gifts: Assist the staff in research and implementation of alternative sources of revenue. Commitment: as needed
Public Relations/Media/Newsletter: Assist staff in various aspects of print media and photography for the Parish Newsletter (The Word Became Flesh), local media and Catholic publications. Commitment: as needed.
Translating/Assisting in Spanish: Translating documents (Spanish to English and vice versa) and assisting the staff with other aspects of our Hispanic Ministry. Commitment: as needed
Community Life

Welcoming New Families: This ministry is involved with all aspects of welcoming new parishioners who have recently registered with the parish. Members are asked to choose from one (or all) of the following ways to assist in welcoming:
-Assistance with set-up/clean-up. Attend and welcome those newcomers who attend the “Newcomer’s Social”. Commitment: (one evening) in February, June and October.
-Assist at the “Welcome Table”. Greet new parishioners and provide them with a “Welcome Packet” (parish registration and ministry information.) Commitment: Once every three months.
-Follow-up phone calls to new parishioners. Commitment: Once every three months.
Health Ministry: This ministry plans, coordinates, sponsors, and provides all health related services such as blood pressure screenings, health education/presentations, and blood drives. Commitment: One meeting per quarter and attendance at events.
Greeters: The most important aspect of a greeter is welcoming everyone into God’s house. Greeters fill the role of official host/hostess at the entrance to the Worship Center. Commitment expected: An average of one liturgy per month plus Holy Days, Christmas, and the Easter Triduum Liturgies.
Sunday Fellowship: This Ministry assists in the set-up for Sunday morning fellowship by preparing the Parish Hall with coffee and donuts. Commitment: approximately once per quarter after the Sunday morning Liturgy.
Social Event Assistance: This Ministry is involved in the planning and carrying out of parish wide events/socials. Committee members meet as needed in planning/preparing for the social event. Commitment: as needed per event, approximately twice per year.
